How You Can Help

Every gift lands on someone’s kitchen table.

There’s no overhead here and no middleman — your donation is used to purchase items in direct support of our guests. All donations are tax-deductible.

Current Needs

What the house needs right now.

Support Alaska Fisher House by purchasing needed household and guest supplies directly through our Amazon Wish List. Items are shipped directly to the house and help support families during their stay.

The list is kept current by house staff, so everything on it is something a family needs this month — paper goods, pantry staples, laundry and cleaning supplies, snacks and frozen meals.

Volunteer

Cook a meal. Change a family’s whole day.

Meals aren’t provided at the house — which is why a home-cooked dinner from a volunteer, a unit, a church group, or a business is one of the most beloved gifts a family can receive after a long day at the hospital.

Volunteers also help with special projects, support community events and fundraisers, and organize donation drives throughout the year.

To volunteer a meal, call the house at (907) 222-1673 or email akfh@us.af.mil and we’ll find a date that works.

With Gratitude

Our supporters.

Fisher House of Alaska would like to thank the organizations and individuals whose generosity keeps this home open — the businesses, service organizations, congregations, units, and neighbors who show up year after year.

Not sure where to start? Start anywhere.

A case of paper towels, a home-cooked meal, a check in the mail — it all keeps the lights on and the coffee warm.
